Hockey for Heroes and Grays hockey announce the launch of a special edition Hockey for Heroes stick, which will see a contribution of each stick sale going directly to Help For Heroes. The stick, which will go on sale 1st August in the Hockey for Heroes shop and grays-hockey.com, along with being available in selected stores, will also be used by Sam Ward in this weekend's Pro League Finals and the European Championships in Antwerp during August.

The Special Edition Jumbow Composite Hockey Stick has been created with Sam Ward's preferred shape and composition in mind. The profile has also been engineered to give the ultimate balance of power & control (and goalscoring).

The charity is delighted to partner with Grays to support our fallen Heroes, multiple events in the UK over the next year will assist in the support of these heroes where sports makes a significant difference to the recovery of servicemen and women.
— Joel Forrester, H4H

Along with proceeds of the Jumbow stick going to Hockey For Heroes, Andy Halliday, England Hockey and Team GB Team Manager, will be raising money for the charity by using the Grays limited edition stick to dribble up Annapurna, a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres.

We are excited to be able to work with this exceptional charity, helping to raise money to help our injured and fallen Heroes.
— Hugo Youngman Brand Manager for Grays Hockey

The Special Edition Jumbow Composite Hockey Stick will go on sale from August 2019 and retail at £219.99 RRP (senior) £100 (junior) along with a souvenir stick and key ring.
